This service has been up for a few days, and we have recieved a few questions. We would like
to take this space to explain some of the questions asked, and will hopefully help others (maybe
even you). If your questions are still not answered, by all means, scroll to the bottom of this
page and e-mail us your questions. NO SPAM! NO UNSOLICITED MAIL! Please! ;) If this service is so great, why is it free? The reasons for this service being free is as follows: * Does every service have to have a price? No! * We wrote the script for our sites, and decided to share it * We advertise on the pages, that makes us money, and therefore keeps it free * If you really want, send us a check (just kidding). Can I change the HTML code that it generates? Yes, but make sure that it works. If you change the coding around too much, it may not work properly. Can I sign up for multiple accounts? Of course, in fact, we encourage you to do so. You can have multiple accounts on the same page if you would like (why, we aren't sure, but it does work). If you don't charge for this service, what's the catch? Again, we can not stress enough, there is no catch, it's absolutely FREE. See above for the answers to this question. What's up with the counter? The counter is a feature that we will be implementing later on. We will keep you posted on that. If we do add the counter, and this is a feature you would like to add to yours, keep this site bookmarked, and we will update the code at a later date. Do you guys host any other applications, such as guest books or counters? Not presently. We would like to add some other CGI scripts in the near future, but for now enjoy Informant. We will keep you posted on when we add new scripts. Just bookmark this page and visit back often. As for this script, we felt it was a good idea at the time. Why should you use us instead of someone else (or setting up your own script)? Because it's fast to do it this way, easy, and best of all, it's FREE! |
